¡Hola! My name is Hazel Tankard and I’m from Virginia Beach, VA. I’m a senior Psychology major and Hispanic Studies minor. On campus I’m also a member of the Women’s Track and Field team where I compete in the heptathlon. I am fascinated with languages and the ways they can open up the world around you and allow you to connect with others. Previously I’ve been a Spanish Assistant Teacher for Davidson and I loved watching my students’ command of the language grow over the semesters. This is my first year working with Davidson K-8 but I’m so excited to share my passion for languages with the students!
