Hello,

My name is Gerardo Alvarez. I was born and raised in Valencia, Venezuela and migrated to the US when I was 15 years old. I am a second-year student at Davidson College and an undeclared but soon to declare biology major with a focus in pre-medicine. As a native Spanish speaker, I am very excited to teach in DES and share my experience of being in Spanish-speaking classrooms for 15 years of my life.
