My name is Austin Leonard. I am a biology major at Davidson and I hope to attend medical school after college. I am a pitcher on the baseball team here at Davidson. I have enjoyed learning Spanish over the past few years, and I have spent time in Spain and Ecuador practicing the language. Through my experiences I have learned the value of knowing another language and the opportunities that it can create. I am excited to be a part of the DES program so that I may share with young students my excitement about learning a language.
